Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is an ideal healthy alternative spread, and great for baking, stir frying and sauté cooking. Coconut oil is rich in medium chain tryglycerides (MCTs) which digests easily and provides the body with excellent source of energy and fuel. Coconut oil has also been proven to help with thyroid disease, weight problems, bowel disease, candida, chronic fatigue, diabetes, HIV and Aids, parasites. It does not raise cholesterol levels like saturated fats/butter and is free from toxic trans fatty acids or rancified polyunsaturated oil. It can even be used topically for super smooth skin!

Throw all your other oils/fats/butters away. This should be the only pot in your cupboard. Both the Virgin and the Higher Nature brands are of exceptional quality, with the Virgin having a slightly stronger taste.

Flax Seed Oil
Liven up your taste buds with this rich full flavour garlic, chilli and flax seed oil. This oil can be used a substitute to olive oil in dips, salad dressings, and can be drizzled over any prepared meal. It has been made with carefully prepared infusion of whole garlic cloves marinated in organic apple cider vinegar, mild dried chillies and is rich in Omega 3. Garlic, chilli and flax seeds are considered super foods and support the immune system, heart and circulation. It cannot be used for cooking or baking.
It costs as much as a good quality organic olive oil and comes in 30ml (trial size), 237ml and 355ml bottles. I use it on absolutely everything! Highly recommended, Evy.
